Season your cubed steak pieces with salt and pepper to taste.
Heat the oil on high and once hot, add in the steak cubes (don't over crowd, you might have to work in two batches). Cook the meat until all sides are brown, about 3-4 minutes total.
Add in the butter and garlic and stir to melt and coat the meat, 1 or 2 minutes. Serve immediately.

Serve with my 3 Minute Skillet Asparagus or 5 Minute Skillet Broccoli for a quick dinner side.Any steak works, including NY strip steak, tenderloin or rib eye.Optional: Garnish with fresh chives or parsley.
