Preheat oven 375℉. Melt the butter in a 10 inch oven proof skillet in your oven. Swirl the butter around to coat the sides. Place the cherries in the skillet in an even layer. Set the pan aside.
To a blender or food processor, add the eggs, milk, heavy cream, sugar, flour, salt, vanilla, almond extract and pulse until combined. Pour the batter over the cherries. Optional: sprinkle some more sugar on top and bake for 40-45 minutes or until set and golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean. Allow to cool for 30 minutes prior to slicing.
