When you use one of our forms to sign up to our mailing list we collect your first name and email address. You will receive several introductory emails following sign-up, then an email whenever a new article is posted. We may also send you recipe roundup emails profiling existing recipes that are on our website (for example a roundup of Christmas recipes in December). You can expect to receive approximately one email per week.

The country where you signed up is also stored. This enables us to see the demographic of visitors to the website so that we can tailor our content accordingly.

When leaving a comment on our website we collect your name, email address, and (optionally) your website address.

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

1. ReCAPTCHA – We use Google’s ReCAPTCHA on our Contact Form to check comments submitted to our website for spam content.  The information they collect includes the commenter’s IP address, user agent, referrer, and Site URL (along with other information directly provided by the commenter such as their name, email address and the comment itself).
2. Mailchimp – We use the mailing list services provided by Mailchimp. The information they collect includes location, IP address and information directly provided in the sign up forms.
