These deliciously crispy cheese fries are addicting and delicious as all hell. The kicker? Blink and they are ready. Okay maybe not that fast, but trust me, they are the quickest thing I have ever made. Easy come easy go!

So if you want to keep them gluten free, then definitely use the tapioca flour. If that is not your thing, then go ahead and use regular all purpose flour and that works too. If you don’t have za’atar spice blend, you can simply mix together some toasted sesame seeds, dried thyme, dried oregano, coriander, cumin and sumac.

  • To a large skillet, add the oil and heat on medium. Once it gets hot, add in the halloumi strips and cook for 3-4 minutes, flipping half way through. Transfer to a platter lined with paper towel.
