When does the cookbook come out?
The Hungry Happens: Mediterranean Cookbook is officially for sale starting September 9, 2025, but you can PREORDER NOW (which helps SO much)!
Why preorder the book?
I know September feels far away, but pre-ordering is incredibly important for authors — especially NEW authors like me! There are a few reasons why:
- Retail availability. The number of pre-ordered books lets retailers know that they should stock more copies, which in turn gets even more copies in readers’ hands. Publishers will print more copies to sell in stores when they see that the book is in demand.
- Media opportunities. The more the book is pre-ordered, the more opportunities my team and I will have to share it around the country (and the world!) through TV appearances, and online and in-print articles.
- Becoming a bestseller. Pre-ordering the book helps it climb coveted bestseller lists on New York Times, Amazon, and more. A TRUE honor for any author.

Are breakfast bars (Eggs with veggies) & Greek Pumpkin bars featured in yhis Mediterranean cookery book? Are any recipes gluten free?
Hi Glynnis, Yes there are recipes for egg muffins with veggies and a frittata style recipe. There isnt a pumpkin bars recipe but many many gluten free recipes – or, on most recipes, we give options in the NOTES section to make the recipe gluten free! That was very important to me!

Hi Annette, it comes out September 9, 2025! It may seem far away but pre-orders are super important to show the publisher that the book is in demand. That way they order lots of copies of the book. With that, the price will come down. If you are planning on buying the book the best time is now! And keep in mind that when you buy it on Amazon, they will honor the lowest price ever listed on Amazon from now until the publication date of 9/9/2025!

Hi Stella. On your video’s i watch on FB, your recipes are quite simple and easy, which is what I need and can enjoy. Your monthly recipes were complicated with too many ingredients for me to attempt. Is this new recipe book fashioned off your videos of few ingredients or do I need to be an accomplished cook to attempt to make any of them?

The book is comprised of MOSTLY my simple easy recipes!
I do include a handful of recipes (maybe 4 or 5) that are a bit more advanced for those special occassions.
But again, the majority of the recipes are really easy and on brand with my videos. I promise you will love the book!
