Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350℉ and line an 8×8 inch square pan with parchment paper.
  • In a large bowl, whisk together the mashed bananas, egg, milk, maple syrup, almond butter and vanilla until smooth. Add in the oat flour, cinnamon, salt, baking powder, baking soda and mix until combined. Fold in the blackberries and transfer batter to your pan. Optional: top with some more berries for aesthetic and bake for 30-35 minutes.
  • Allow to set in the pan for 10 minutes then transfer to a wire rack to fully cool.

Glaze:

  • Once cake is fully cooled, in a small bowl, whisk together the powdered sugar, vanilla and 1 tbs milk. Add more milk, a little at a time, until you get the consistency you're looking for. Drizzle it on your bars and enjoy!

Notes

Store leftovers in the fridge.
Make sure you use gluten free oat flour to keep these gluten free.
To make these dairy free, use almond milk or any other milk than dairy.
