The beauty of this muffin recipe lies in its effortless preparation. Simply whisk the eggs, combine them with the cheese, finely chopped prosciutto, and sliced scallions, then divide the mixture into muffin tins and bake until set and lightly golden.
Their portable nature makes them perfect for on-the-go breakfasts or snacks, ensuring you have a healthy and compliant option readily available. Enjoy these cheesy prosciutto cups warm straight from the oven or chilled for a convenient grab-and-go bite. You can substitute in ham for the proscuitto.
The high protein content from the eggs and prosciutto promotes satiety, aiding in weight management and muscle building. These are the key aspects of a keto or low-carb lifestyle. If you like this recipe you will love my 4 Ingredient Spinach Feta Egg Cups or my Spinach Ricotta Egg Bars.
