Banana Breakfast Cookies (5 Ingredients)
There is no oil, eggs or refined sugar in these bad boys. They are 100 percent delicious and addictive though. I really hope you enjoy them – I know we did!
So all you need is five ingredients to happiness. These cookies are awesome and come together in ONE BOWL super fast. I had 3 small ripe bananas. Make sure the mashed bananas come out to 1 cup. I used almond butter but you can use natural peanut butter or sunflower seed butter. If you want to keep these gluten free, make sure your oats are gluten free. The maple syrup is easily swapped with honey. I also used dairy free chocolate chips but you can use what you like or just leave them out.

Thank you
Deliciousness
It’s fast and easy. Delicious Thank you for sharing this recipe
What happens if I reduce the honey/maple syrup amount? Is that ok?
Thanks!!!
I used 2 Tablespoons like it said & only got 7! How would you possibly get 19?
I don’t have quick oats..can I adjust w regular oats?
All you have to do is take a little more roller oats and give them a few spins in your food processor to create a quick oat consistency!
What if you don’t have a food processor?
The cookies will come out gritty then. But definitely still edible and delicious!
Delicious! Do you think these would freeze ok? Thanks for such an easy and delicious way to start the day!
Hi
Looks great.
Could I add a scoop of vegan protein powder? Or two?
Hey Philipp, I haven’t tried it with the protein powder, but in my experience I think it will work with one small scoop. Please let us know what happens! Thank you!
Just saw your post and made them on my lunch break (wfh 😉). Can’t wait for my kiddo to get home for a snack. Is the nutrition for one cookie (because I definitely had more than one already).
Spoiler alert: she loved them!
I love these, have made them 3 times already, and the kids I nanny Love them too.
Thats so awesome Lucy! Glad they are loved by the whole family!
Is the calorie count for 1or 2 cookies!!!
I definitely trying them today!! I’m always looking for healthy snacks .. thank you!!
I just took them out of the oven. I used sugar free maple syrup and Lily’s SF chocolate chips out of medical necessity. I wish that they were a little more crispy, but I don’t know if my subs impacted that. Delicious, healthier cookies. I am so appreciative of the recipe!
Hi MArgie! It’s my pleasure to share with everyone and I thank you for your kind feedback!
Can you use raisins instead of chocolate chips?
Absolutely can sub in raisins, dried cranberries, nuts, seeds or dates (just to name a few)!
Can you use regular peanut butter? Or cookie butter?
You can use cookie butter, but it will be sweeter.
Yummy and so easy to make! A sweet treat or quick breakfast!
Hi Ann, Thanks for trying this recipe out! And definitely thank you for the kind feedback!
Real simple; I used cocoa powder instead of the chips. They look like the no bake cookies.
Can these be left at room temperature or put in the Fridge
Hi Alyssa, I left mine on the counter in an air tight container. You can refrigerate too they will keep longer.
