Easy Oat Bread Recipe (3 Ingredients)
You all know how much we love our simple, no-knead bread recipes on here! This new one does not disappoint either. Its made super simple with only three ingredients. All you need is oat flour, yogurt and baking powder and you have yourself a soft and delicious bread for breakfast, snacking or for a side with a meal.
If you don’t have oat flour, don’t worry! You can make your own using rolled oats/old fashioned oats in your food processor. Just pulse away until you reach a powder like consistency similar to flour. Make this Gluten Free by using Gluten Free Oats.
The same goes for the vanilla whole milk yogurt substitutions. You can also use a plain whole milk yogurt, Greek yogurt or dairy free yogurt to make this VEGAN. If you like this recipe you will love my 2 Ingredient Yogurt Bread Recipe or my 5 Ingredient Greek Yogurt Bread.

3 Ingredient Oat Bread Recipe
Equipment
Ingredients
- 3 cups oat flour
- 2 tbs baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1½ cups whole milk vanilla yogurt
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350℉. Line an 8×4 inch loaf pan with parchment paper.
- In a large mixing bowl whisk together the oat flour, baking powder and salt. Mix in the yogurt; at first with a spatula and then with your hands. Dough will be very thick and sticky. That's you would want. Transfer to your loaf pan and spread it out evenly. Optional, Top with a few rolled oats and press them in. Bake for 45-50 minutes or until golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
- Allow bread to set in the pan for 10 minutes and then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely before slicing.
Notes
- Store leftovers in an airtight container on the counter or in your fridge for up to 4-5 days.
- You can also use plain whole milk yogurt or Greek yogurt.
- If you don’t have oat flour, you can make it at home by adding rolled oats to a food processor or blender. Pulse until the oats become a super fine flour.
- Use non-dairy yogurt to make this VEGAN.
- Use gluten free rolled oats to make this GLUTEN FREE.

φανταστικό,😊
Have made this and love it. Thanks for all the greatt recipes.
Looks delicious! If I use plain Greek nonfat yogurt, but want the vanilla flavor that the vanilla yogurt would provide, can I add vanilla extract? If so, how much vanilla extract should I use? Thanks!
Hi Mary, thank you! I would add 1 or 2 tsp vanilla extract. Keep in mind the vanilla yogurt is also sweetened and sweeter than regular plain yogurt, so if you’re looking for a sweeter bread, you will have to add in a granulated sweetener.
I had the same question as Mary, so thanks to both of you!
Stella: How much regular sugar do you suggest we add for sweetening? Thanks!
Hi Kim, I would do 1/4 cup for mildly sweet and 1/3 cup for more flavor. Enjoy!
lovely low saturated fat and sugar
Hi Jean and thank you! I hope you enjoy!
