Easy Skillet Chicken Gyros
The number one question I get as a food blogger is what is my go-to quick weeknight meal. Well, it doesn’t get simpler than this. The tzatziki is non-negotiable and you can make it the night before to prep. If you’re watching your weight or trying to eat a low carb diet, you can make this with lettuce wraps instead or serve the chicken and toppings on a bead of rice. Also you can make a burrito style wrap with these ingredients.
If you like this dish, you will love my EASY CHICKEN GYROS that are baked in a loaf pan. I use chicken thighs in that dish and it takes about an hour to cook but the end product is worth it.

unbelievably easy and insanely good!
Hi Chela, that’s right! So happy you liked the recipe!
Easy peasy. I thought I made great chicken gyros, but this elevated my take on them! The paprika and onion powder hit the spot. Not a fan of pita unless I’m stuffing it. I prefer flat bread or nan.
Thank you for trying the recipe out! I’m happy it was a winner for you and yes, the bread is customizable – sometimes we do a flour tortilla!
Family loved it! Will definitely put it into rotation. We also added some feta, yum!
loved it-thank you!
Hi Edna, glad you liked them!
Love the flavours, I used boneless skinless thighs whole done in a cast iron grill pan. Longer cook time but Oh those crispy grill marks :D. Definitely wanna do the homemade tzatziki next time, but store bought had to be used today.
