Healthy Cannoli Cake (4 Ingredients)
This cake is a delicious spin on the traditional Italian dessert cannoli, but much healthier and super simple to make.
This is by far and away my favorite healthy dessert. Why? Because its SO freakin easy to make with only four ingredients (I typically always have on hand) and it tastes incredible. When I have guests coming over I also add 1/4 cup sugar to the mixture to make it more of a traditional cake.
This is a play on my hyper viral 3 Ingredient Greek Yogurt Cake that everyone loved so much. This is not a traditional cannoli cake but made much healthier and super yummy. You can also add in vanilla extract to the batter.

Hi Christina, I”m so glad you liked the cake! Thanks for sharing your feedback
Hey, so what do you think about using ricotta cheese instead of the yogurt? (I could always strain the ricotta if needed) ??! 😁
Hi Jill, should work with ricotta too
Is it okay to Mini Chocolate Chips?
Yes absolutely!
Hi Stella, could I sweeten it with honey or maple syrup?
Hi Kim, I havent tried it but it should work
Stella, can I use regular semisweet chocolate chips instead of sugar-free?
absolutely yes!!!
Made this cake as a dessert for dinner yesterday. Me and my family just LOVED it!
Thank you so, so much for this wonderful recipe! 😊
Hi Korbi, Glad it was a winner with everyone! Thanks for the kind rating!
After reading the recipe and reviews, decided to give it a try to bake for my friend’s Christmas Dinner. I also added in dried fruits and on the top I put fresh apricot wedges. Now it is in the oven, keeping my fingers crossed.
I want to make this with corn starch since that’s what I have. Are the measurements the same for cornstarch as they are for tapioca starch?
Hi Nicole, YES cornstarch is the same as tapioca flour/starch!
If you used a regular size springform pan would you double recipe?
I loved it! My mom and husband thought it was really good too! The only thing I added was a tiny splash of pure vanilla. Thanks, Stella!
Hi Maria, I’m so glad everyone enjoyed it! Thanks for trying it out! <3
This was not really a hit. Plain, greek yogurt makes it taste super sour. Wanted to love bc it was so so easy to prepare.
Hi Violet and I’m so sorry the recipe didn’t work for you…
I’d say, don’t give up just yet 🙂. I’m planning to use vanilla Greek yogurt and also add the suggested 1/4 cup sugar (I’ll use coconut sugar) and vanilla extract; hope for the best because, like you, I love the simplicity 😉
I made them in cupcake form and they are very good? Can I freeze them?
Hi Anastasia, that sounds like a beautiful idea! I need to try it with a crust maybe as well! Thanks for sharing your feedback!
how long is baking time if made as a cupcake?
Hi Wendi, I’d say about 20-25 minutees
DO you think this would work with a cashew based yogurt? It’s pretty much the same consistency.
HI Danielle, i have not tried it but it will probably work
Is it supposed to be so flat? It fell after cooling.
Hi Amy, yes, mine deflated too!
I was not sure it would be flavourful – so glad I was wrong because it’s delicious. This will be a holiday regular
Hi Medley, Yay! Glad you like it!
Delish!
Hi Mery, thanks so much for trying the cake out! Glad it was enjyed!
Hi. What can I substitute for 6” springform pan? Thank you
Hi Madeleine, you can use an 8×4 inch loaf pan or cupcake muffin tray.
