The delicious alternative to candy bars are definitely these healthy Twix bites.
When I saw these pop up on my page I had to try them! They looked just like the candy bar version but with all healthier ingredients. They literally blew us away. I think we scarfed them all down in 30 minutes. If you like these you will love my NO BAKE SNICKERS OAT CUPS (VEGAN).

These are super simple with a total of only 7 ingredients, to throw together in the morning and just be patient, and let them set in the freezer for 2 hours. You will not be disappointed!! The center literally tastes like caramel and the base like a yummy cookie. If you like these, you will love my viral NO BAKE 6 INGREDIENT PEANUT BUTTER CHOCOLATE OAT CUPS!!

Healthy Twix Cups
Equipment
Ingredients
Base:
- 1 cup (236.59 g) almond flour
- 1 tbs protein powder, or coconut flour
- 3 tbs maple syrup
- 2 tbs olive oil
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- pinch of salt
Caramel Layer:
- 1/3 cup (86 g) peanut butter, (or almond butter)
- 3 tbs maple syrup
- 1 tbs olive oil
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- pinch of salt
Chocolate Topping:
- 1 cup (180 g) chocolate chips
- 1 tsp olive oil
Instructions
Base:
- Preheat your oven to 350โ Spray a mini muffin tray with oil or use a silicone mini muffin tray and skip the oil.
- Mix all of the base ingredients in a small bowl using a fork. Divide the mixture evenly to the muffin tray, filling about 1/3 full. Press down gently so there is flat top. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown.
Caramel Layer:
- In a small bowl, whisk together all of the caramel layer ingredients until smooth. Once the base layer has completely cooled, dollop on the caramel (about 1 tsp to each) and flatten out the tops with a small spoon.
Chocolate Layer:
- Melt the chocolate chips with the oil over low heat, stirring constantly to avoid burning the chocolate. Pour the chocolate to fill the tops of each cup. Transfer the muffin tray to your freezer and allow to set for 2 hours.
Simple to make and feeds that sweet crave perfectly!
My VERY PICKY eater loves these!!! As do I โค๏ธโค๏ธโค๏ธ thanks Stella-your receipts are my jam!
Bro this is delicious! Well done! If you want the caramel to taste more like caramel try caramel made from dates, cause this tasted more like snickers with the peanut butter, which still was so yummy! It taste like snickers, Twix and caramel slice all in one. Wow
HI Rachel! I know right – I love this recipe so much! Thanks for your feedback!!
superb
I wish these were nut/peanut free. My son loves Twix and I was excited to see this recipe until I saw the use of nuts- which Twix doesnโt have. Hoping to see more but free recipes in the future
Bet if you are nut free you know about Trader Joeโs cookie butterโand if youโre not near a Trader Joeโs try Biscoff Butter.
I liked them a lot, as well as 4 other people. My hubby who has a huge sweet tooth did not like the taste of the peanut butter, which was organic. That’s why the 4 star rating. If you win him over you have a hit. Couldn’t fit them in freezer. Worked well putting them in my fridge.
Are these difficult to remove from a regular mini muffin tin? I donโt have flexible one but I want to try!
These are so satisfying. Even as someone who craves sugar, I only need one or two to be satisfied.
Might be the best thing Iโve ever tasted in my life
This are simply awesome! I use sugar free syrup and chocolate to minimize blood sugar spikes. They taste amazing and look impressive! Thanks for the recipe!
LOVE these!! I made them specifically for someone who has many dietary restrictions at church, but they were such a hit with everyone, I had to promise her a batch for just her next time.
My entire family loves these!
I made these for my family and they were absolutely delicious. Thank you for sharing.
