Healthy Twix Cups (Vegan)
When I saw these pop up on my page I had to try them! They looked just like the candy bar version but with all healthier ingredients. They literally blew us away. I think we scarfed them all down in 30 minutes. If you like these you will love my NO BAKE SNICKERS OAT CUPS (VEGAN).
These are super simple with a total of only 7 ingredients, to throw together in the morning and just be patient, and let them set in the freezer for 2 hours. You will not be disappointed!! The center literally tastes like caramel and the base like a yummy cookie. If you like these, you will love my viral NO BAKE 6 INGREDIENT PEANUT BUTTER CHOCOLATE OAT CUPS!!

Healthy Twix Cups
Equipment
Ingredients
Base:
- 1 cup almond flour
- 1 tbs protein powder or coconut flour
- 3 tbs maple syrup
- 2 tbs olive oil
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- pinch of salt
Caramel Layer:
- 1/3 cup peanut butter (or almond butter)
- 3 tbs maple syrup
- 1 tbs olive oil
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- pinch of salt
Chocolate Topping:
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 1 tsp olive oil
Instructions
Base:
- Preheat your oven to 350℉ Spray a mini muffin tray with oil or use a silicone mini muffin tray and skip the oil.
- Mix all of the base ingredients in a small bowl using a fork. Divide the mixture evenly to the muffin tray, filling about 1/3 full. Press down gently so there is flat top. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown.
Caramel Layer:
- In a small bowl, whisk together all of the caramel layer ingredients until smooth. Once the base layer has completely cooled, dollop on the caramel (about 1 tsp to each) and flatten out the tops with a small spoon.
Chocolate Layer:
- Melt the chocolate chips with the oil over low heat, stirring constantly to avoid burning the chocolate. Pour the chocolate to fill the tops of each cup. Transfer the muffin tray to your freezer and allow to set for 2 hours.
Very delish. I use lankato SF maple syrup and SF Choco cups to make keto!!!!
HI Tiff, thanks for sharing your feedback with us!
So easy and so delicious. Ive made these a few times for my husband and toddler and they always get eaten up the same day. I swap the olive oil for butter because I’m not vegan, both ways are yummy
Hi Victoria, Yes! you can swap out with any oil you like but I’m not vegan. I love butter though too!
These are bomb! My family can’t quit eating them and they don’t even know they are healthier than other treats!
Hi Rose, I’m so happy you all loved the treats! Yay!
literally a twix, such a hit
Hi Jamie, so glad you all enjoyed!
This are amazing and simple. Shared amongst family and neighbours and everyone loved them!
Hi Bailey, Glad they were a hit with everyone! Thanks for trying the recipe!
How should I cook it if I only have a 12 slot tray?
Made these today and just had 1…. Ok I had 3!!! They were delicious!! I have been searching for yummy gluten free desserts since my son was just diagnosed with Celiac disease. Thank you for these!!
Hi Diane, so glad this recipe came in handy for you! I love these so much too!
OMG these are SOOOO good! I have never left a review for a recipe but this one deserves 10 stars!
Hi Jackie, thank you so much! That means a lot! Glad you liked them <3
Would it be okay to use sugar free chocolate chips for the top layer? Just trying to cut the carbs. I already have the sugar free maple syrup so that’s covered. Thanks!
Hi Linda, absolutely yes!!
11 g of sugar for ONE? I wouldn’t call this recipie healthy at all. They do look good, though.
I hear you but they are definitely better for you than store bought, factory made candy bars!
I don’t have silicone mini tins – can I use a metal one? What would time be?
Same time but make sure you grease the tin or use liners. Time might be a few minutes less with the metal pan.
Very very good. I used agave instead of maple in base and caramel. Will make again. Thanks for recipe.
Hi Yvette, Glad you enjoyed the treats! Thanks for the kind feedback!
Whole fam loves them! I pack them in my kids’ lunches and don’t feel guilty about their sweet treat. 🙂
Really good! My kids say they taste just like Twix.
The biscuit base is amazing, I’ll be using this as a base recipe in the future and making these twix cups again. I did, however, substitute coconut oil in place of olive oil and 1 tbsp of maple syrup in the caramel layer and found it sweet enough.
Did you use a 12 or 24 cup muffin tray for these? The recipe says 18 servings…
Hi Jill, its a mini muffin tray with 24 slots
Do you use all 24 slots? I’m confused by the “18 servings “. I didn’t realize how many slots my pan should have and used my 12 slot tray. It was kind of a disaster 🤣. Will be trying it again as the flavors are great!
