So grab a cup of coffee and let’s dive into some of my favorite things for January – things that are bringing me joy, keeping me styled, and helping me kick off this year with a bang!

my favorite january finds

SKIN CARE MUST HAVE’S

Nothing says it’s a new year like a renewed commitment to treating your body the best you can! That includes your skin and hair and the products you put on them. I keep the Briogeo Style + Treat Non-Aerosol & Talc-Free Dry Shampoo Powder Puff in my bag to have on hand when I need an on-the-go root touchup, and rely on the Style + Treat™ Hair Styling Sleek Stick for a frizz-free finish on these cold winter days.

It’s crucial to keep my skin moisturized this time of year, and I rely on products to combat dryness and keep my complexion glowing. Farmacy Beauty’s Honey Vanilla Clean removes makeup while hydrating skin (and gives back to family’s in need through Feeding America) while the vegan Extreme Cream Anti-Aging, Firming, & Lifting Refillable Moisturizer nourishes that clean skin. The Firm Offer Ultimate 4-in-1 Peptide Eye Cream and Primer for Fine Lines not only brightens dark circles and minimizes fine lines, but is an excellent primer for makeup.

I keep my lips hydrated by using the Sarah Creal Lip Grip Peptide Priming Treatment, and then layering with the Speak for Yourself Hydrating Lipstick or the The Adults are Talking Solid Serum Lip Repair Balm, which both come in beautiful color options.

My two favorite eye products for January are the Sarah Creal Back of The Cab Volumizing & Tubing Mascara and the Chanel STYLO SOURCILS WATERPROOF Defining Longwear Eyebrow Pencil. Both of these are great for everyday use or to enhance your look for a special occasion.

CLOTHING + ACCESSORIES

January can sometimes feel like a hard month to dress. The holidays are over and here in the North East we’re in the full blown cold and darkness. I like to find pieces that allow me to stay stylish and also dress for the season. The Prada Suede Lace-Up Runner Sneakers and the Christian Louboutin Lock Suede Red Sole Booties can both be dressed up or down and are perfect for a New York winter. The Fringed Nappa Leather Jacket is another one of my favorite pieces for winter. I just love the fringe and western charm. The Pasture Jacket is an adorably cozy and more causal outerwear option, perfect for chilly days when you want to be comfortable but still look chic.

I love a pop of color in the winter months – and this Simkhai Jazz Bubble Hem Midi Dress in pink fits the bill. The Misa Top in Evergreen is a beautiful date night top and adds a touch of festive elegance, while the Bleu Pleated Logo Waist Maxi Skirt from Weekend Max Mara is another gorgeous addition to your winter wardrobe.

I’m loving the look of these Givenchy 4Gem Shield Sunglasses and with 100% UV protection, they’re the perfect pair to protect my eyes from the bright winter sun. These Pavé XL Serpent Drop Earrings are just the touch of dazzle I need to elevate any outfit, from everyday chic to special occasion glamour. Finally, my favorite splurge for this month is the Bottega Veneta Triangle Key Ring, a small but luxurious detail that adds a touch of sophistication to my everyday carry.
