With only 6 ingredients that you most likely have in your pantry already – these NEED to be made! If you love these, you will also love my NO BAKE SNICKERS OAT CUPS!!
This recipe is so simple to make. Simply mix up the ingredients in a bowl. Divide the mixture up into 10 muffins slots and flatten them as best as you can. Freeze for at least 2 hours. Then get your peanut butter chocolate mixture going, melted in a small pot on LOW heat. Top with the chocolate and some flaky salt, freeze some more and enjoy! Another great dessert bite recipe are my HEALTHY TWIX CUPS!

- 1/2 cup maple syrup (or honey)
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp salt

- Store in an airtight container in the freezer.
These are REALLY good. The only thing I would change is the size. They are really rich and a whole muffin cup is a lot. I will make them smaller next time. Great recipe!
Hi,
Could I substitute flax seed for the almond flour?
Actually, it is ground flax feed.
Did you try ground flaxseed instead Id almond flour? That’s what I was thinking of doing.
we haven’t even eaten these yet. they’re in the freezer but what we had off the spoon was amazing! I did this to the recipe except I added a little bit of coconut flake to it and next time we will have some cinnamon too.
we added just a tiny bit of butterscotched chips to the chocolate to give it a bit of a scotcheroos feel.
Hi Jenna, love the butterscotch chips add in – genius!
Such a great recipe! Thank you so much. It was so easy to make and absolutely delicious! I can’t wait to try more of your awesome recipes!
Can I use almond meal in replace of the almond flour?
Hi Becky, that’s the same thing!
Raw oats? No need to cook them first?
Just raw!
They aren’t totally “raw” as the oat kernel is steamed before it is rolled flat….. to make rolled oats 🙂
Is it ok to eat raw almond flour? Or is the flour not considered raw when mixed with everything?
Raw almond flour is made from raw almonds. Raw almonds are safe to eat, which means raw almond flour is also safe to eat.
Can I use bread flour or AP flour?
What ingredient contains cholesterol? I’m confused why there would be any at all if these are vegan because cholesterol is only in animal fats and dairy as far as I know.
I have made a few Peanut butter cups before but your recipe is my fav so far.
I have put my own little twist this time..I made mini ones and hollowed out the centre a little and in some I boysenberry jam and some with pistachio butter before putting in the freezer then topped with the chocolate. On top I put a sprincle of pistachios on the pistachio ones. (not as healthy but oh so good)
Can I use all purpose flour? Is almond or oat flour more healthy than all purpose flour or is there another purpose for the almond flour?
Hi Jamie, all purpose flour is highly processed here in the US and that’s why i tend to avoid it and reach for almond flour or oat flour. You can use what works for you though or grab some vanilla protein powder – that works too!
Really delicious. I skipped the salt but made them with salty peanuts. Great texture
These are way too good! 🙂 I have to put them in the freezer quickly or I’ll eat them all…lol! 5*****
Can I use gluten free oats?
Gluten is not necessary for a recipe like this, so yes, you can use gluten free oats.
So gooooodddddd!
I used hemp protein powder instead of almond flour and half crunchy peanut butter half Fix & Fogg oaty nut butter.
Substitute anything. Great base recipe thanks ‘Hungry Happens’.
