15 Minute Lemon Honey Parmesan Asparagus
The perfect combination of flavors for a quick snack or side dish!
The family’s go-to method for asparagus is most definitely this lemon honey and cheese flavoring. We were absolutely floored with the taste and how easy it was to make this. The ingredients are basic, but the dish is NOT.

Instructions
- Preheat your air fryer to 400 F or oven to 425℉.
- Rinse and dry your asparagus well. Trim the ends and discard. Take the remaining pieces and cut them into three equal parts (bunch them up to slice). Toss them in a bowl with the olive oil, lemon juice, honey, and spices to coat all. Then add the parmesan and toss to distribute to all pieces. Transfer to your air fryer and cook for 10 minutes. Open the basket and shake to redistribute and bake for another 3-5 minutes.
- Garnish with more lemon, honey and chili pepper flakes.

How long in the oven at 425?
Is the asparagus as good in the oven v. the air fryer?
If you don’t have an air fryer, what temp and about how long should I bake these for?
Thanks!
We love the flavor – – the slight sweetness was very nice, and I used lime rather than lemon. My asparagus remained reedy despite extra cooking, I think, because the stalks were on the thin side. Next time, bigger, asparagus. Plus, we want to try this seasoning with green beans.
Are chili flakes also added with chili pepper before roasting? These sound delicious – anxious to try them!!!
Hi Brenda, you can do it either way. I added the chili flakes as a garnish at the end!
Amazing, simple & quick way to make a bunch (or two)!
Hi Leeza, glad you tried the side dish and liked it! Thanks for the kind rating!
