Homemade Self-Rising Flour: If you don’t have self rising flour you can easily sub in 1 3/4 cup all purpose flour + 2 1/2 tsp baking powder + 1/4 tsp salt. Simply whisk together these ingredients and then add them into the bowl with your yogurt.
This is such a versatile recipe where you can sub in Lemon Greek yogurt for the strawberry or any flavor you have on hand. The glaze is not necessary but definitely recommended.

2 Ingredient Strawberry Donut Holes
Equipment
Ingredients
- 1 cup strawberry Greek yogurt
- 1¾ cups self rising flour
Glaze:
- 1 heaping cup powdered sugar
- 2 tbs milk
- 1 tbs crushed freeze dried strawberries
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400℉ (or your air fryer to 350℉). Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper (or spray your air fryer basked with avocado oil).
- Homemade Self-Rising Flour: If you don't have self rising flour you can easily sub in 1 3/4 cup all purpose flour + 2 1/2 tsp baking powder + 1/4 tsp salt. Whisk together these ingredients in a medium bowl and then add in the yogurt.
- To a medium bowl, add the the yogurt and self rising flour. Mix well until a dough forms. The dough should be only slightly sticky. If its too sticky add in 1 tbs of flour at a time and mix in with hands until dough is manageable.
- Using a cookie scooper, scoop the dough out into 1½ tbs large balls. Shape them as best you can into rounds balls. Space them out on your cookie sheet and bake for about 12-15 minutes and golden on top. Do NOT over bake. FOR THE AIR FRYER: Bake for about 5 minutes or until light golden.
Glaze:
- Whisk together the powdered sugar and milk until smooth. Add more milk to reach desired consistency. Dip the tops and sides of each COOLED donut into the glaze and set on a plate. Immediately sprinkled with the crushed freeze dried strawberries.
