If you’re a feta lover, don’t even think about, just run to the kitchen to make this dip. Your friends and family will love you for it and devour it! This is a typical appetizer enjoyed and served in Greek restaurants and homes.

10 Minute Skillet Bouyourdi Dip

Ingredients 

  • 2 tbs olive oil
  • 1/3 large green bell pepper, sliced short + thin
  • 1/3 small red onion, sliced thin
  • 3/4 cup tomato, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 7 oz feta cheese, crumbled
  • 3/4 cup shredded mozzarella
  • 1/2 tsp dried oregano
  • 1/4 tsp chili pepper flakes

Instructions

  • In a medium skillet, heat your oil. Add in the peppers and onions and saute for a few minutes on medium low. Next add in your tomatoes and break them down with your spatula for about a minute or two. Next stir in the garlic for 30 seconds. Now toss in the feta, mozzarella, oregano and chili flakes. Mix everything to combine and melt the cheeses. Transfer to a bowl and serve with warm crusty bread, chips or vegetable sticks.
