Easy Baked Brownie Oatmeal
If you’re looking for a healthy but not overly sweet treat in the morning, this recipe is for you! This baked brownie oatmeal comes together in a few minutes. I like to make this baked brownie oatmeal at the beginning of the week and enjoy it for multiple breakfasts.
I used my Sprout Living Chocolate PROTEIN POWDER but I understand you may not have protein powder. If not, simply add in more oat flour and a little maple syrup in its place. This oatmeal brownie bake will be your new breakfast obsession.
This recipe doesn’t involve extra mixing bowls for unnecessary cleanup – it all comes together in a baking dish. You can grease your baking dish with butter, but I skipped that step.

Easy Baked Brownie Oatmeal
Equipment
Ingredients
- 1 banana, mashed
- 1/3 cup oat flour
- 1/3 cup chocolate protein powder
- 3 tbs cacao powder
- 1 tsp baking powder
- pinch salt
- 3/4 cup milk of choice
- 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
- 3 tbs chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350℉.
- In a small baking dish, add in the banana and mash it with a fork.Next add in the oat flour, protein powder, cacao powder, baking powder, salt, milk, vanilla and mix until combined. Fold in chocolate chips. Bake for 12-15 minutes in your air fryer or 20-22 minutes in your oven.
Notes
- If you don’t have chocolate protein powder, you can use more oat flour.
- Since this is not very sweet, you can add in a few tablespoons maple syrup if you prefer. I enjoy it without the added sweetener personally.
- Make sure you use gluten free oat flour if you’re following that diet.
- Make sure you use non dairy milk and non dairy chocolate chips if you’re vegan.
