Easy Apple Breakfast Biscuits
These Apple Breakfast Biscuits offer a delightful and wholesome start to your day. They combine the warmth of sautéed apples with the hearty goodness of a homemade biscuit.

The apple biscuit recipe is built on a foundation of nourishing ingredients. Creamy Greek yogurt acts as a healthy binder, lending a subtle tang and keeping the apple biscuits moist. The pure maple syrup provides just the right amount of natural sweetness.

Beyond being easy and delicious, these apple biscuits are a truly healthy choice for breakfast. They offer fiber from the apples, and healthy fats and protein from the Greek yogurt. They are a perfectly portioned option that will keep you full and energized.

The star of this recipe is the apple! My favorite kind is Honeycrisp but you can use any sweet apple. They are lightly sautéed until tender and caramelized. The apples melt into the biscuit for a burst of cozy, comforting flavor reminiscent of apple pie. Enjoy them fresh from the oven or batch-bake a supply to tuck into your freezer.

Bake for 18-20 minutes or until golden brown. Transfer to a wire rack to cool.
Notes
- Store leftovers in an airtight container on your counter.
- I have an affinity for HoneyCrisp apples and that is what I use here. Any sweet apple works.
- You can sub in whipped cottage cheese instead of Greek yogurt.
- You can sub in honey or granulated sugar instead of maple syrup.

Made it this morning and they’re so yummy! Very quick and easy to make. I think next time I’ll add a bit more than 2 cups of apples but that’s about it. Thank you for the recipe!
We can use low-calorie ingredients.and spelt flour????
Can you sub in sour cream for the yogurt? Yogurt is the only ingredient I’m missing lol!
yes absolutely!
Giving a recipe a lower rating because you’re too lazy to plug it into AI is asinine. Stop acting entitled, get off your behind and do something for yourself of instead of expecting to b spoonfed every little detail.
I would replace the white flour with oatmeal or almond flour and replace the Greek yogurt with Bulgarian yogurt.
You can use whatever you prefer Nadia!
