Healthy Banana Oatmeal Bread (5 Ingredients)
I’m always on the lookout for quick simple snacks that require very few ingredients that are all whole and you probably already have in your kitchen. This definitely hits those spots.
I’m going to greatly stress to you that this is not a traditional banana bread recipe. As you can tell from the ingredient list, it contains a very minimal amount of sweetener. If you would like a traditional banana bread recipe, please check out my delicious Super Moist Banana Bread. You will not be disappointed.
What you can do, is toss in sugar free chocolate chips, nuts, raisins or seeds to add some flavor. To finish this snack off, I like to serve it with some almond or peanut butter spread on top. Again, this is a protein and nutrient dense snack. And comes together so quickly in your blender or food processor. You can also use oat flour and mix the ingredients in a bowl.

- 1 tsp vanilla, 1/2 tsp cinnamon, 1/2 cup chocolate chips, 1/2 cup chopped walnuts, 1/2 cup chopped dates or raisins

I just made those bread this morning. Followed your directions as stated, turned out great and is delicious!! Will be making this often. Thank you!!
Hi Karen, thanks for trying the recipe – I’m so glad you loved it!
This sounds delicious, can I use instant oats?
can you use quick cooking oats?
This is the best, easiest and healthiest banana bread I’ve ever made. I added a bit of extra cinnamon and walnuts. Next time I’ll chuck in a few chopped dates as well. It’s great with butter as a treat and for breakfast I heat it up and put a dollop of yogurt on it with some extra banana, cinnamon and drizzle of sugar free maple syrup. It’s like eating dessert for breakfast. I’ll be making a crap tonne of this, slicing it up and putting it into the freezer for healthy easy breakies that keep me full for hours.
love your recipe but I always have to change it up i put apple sauce in it and crushed nuts its great
Yum!!! I added 1tsp vanilla, 1/2tsp cinnamon and some pecans and it was a hit!!! The whole family loved it and I’m about to make another one! Thank you!
Best easy banana bread I’ve made yet! The only change I made was using a cup of unsweetened applesauce in place of one banana (I only had two) and added a scoop of vanilla protein powder for extra protein. I chopped up a handful of pecans and made like a topping before putting the bread in the oven. It came out so good, I’m so happy I found this recipe! TY!!
I love the recipe! 10/10 tastes delicious!
