Low Carb Spicy Shrimp Tacos
When you bring the flavor, you won’t ever miss the tortilla.
Forget the notion that you need a tortilla to make a delicious taco. Completely unnecessary when you use the right ingredients. This recipe comes together in 30 minutes but tastes like restaurant quality.
This is such a great option that is completely filling and packed with all the good toppings. I decided to add in some corn to the pico de gallo and it seriously leveled it up. Also necessary is the lime crema to lend that creamy texture! And the cherry on top is the Everything Bagel seasoning which pairs up perfectly with the tacos.

I made this recipe for the first time last night for dinner. It was delicious! A brand new yummy recipe into our summer weekly dinner routine! We used tacos instead of lettuce cups and did not use any sugar for the crema. So savory! The pico de gallo is best if using fresh corn cut off the cob.
Hi Doug, I’m so glad you loved the recipe and thanks for coming back to share your feedback with us!
Delicious and in place of shrimp a fish or other protein would be just as good!
Added the siracha to the cream versus the avocado mash
Hi Tommy, glad you tried it and enjoyed the recipe! And yes, that’s a great tip about the fish!
I made this recipe tonight and it was so delicious. I made it exactly a written. Very easy to make for a week night but a very fun recipe for entertaining. Next time I would probably put a bit of serrano or jalapeño in the pico but we like spicy. Thanks for sharing. We surely enjoy your recipes.

I tried this recipe tonight and it was the best meal I have had in a long time. And very easy to make! And my kids loved it too! I did also cook some chicken with the same seasoning as the shrimp for my son who doesn’t like shrimp. Everyone loved their meal. Thank you!
