Sheet Pan Garlic Ginger Beef and Broccoli
This Beef and Broccoli recipe is a forever favorite in my house. In college, Chinese takeout was a staple in my diet. Now that I’m in the kitchen all the time, I prefer this better-for-you version. You know exactly what ingredients are going into it and it is simply a breeze to make. This Asian inspired dish is one of many requested takeout recipes, alongside my Hibachi Steak and Fried Rice. We rarely have any leftovers with these types of recipes!
The garlic ginger sauce is ridiculously delicious here. You can use Tamari sauce instead of Soy Sauce to make this gluten free. This sauce is so popular with my family, I use it on my Sesame Chicken Recipe and my One Pan Honey Garlic Chicken, Broccoli and Rice dish. Everyone inhales these takeout style dishes.
Another great aspect of this recipe is that it is totally customizable where you can use other vegetables and meat in place of the ones listed here. A great alternative for the protein is shrimp. For the vegetables, you can switch them out for mushrooms or carrots or bell peppers. More delicious dishes you can try with the same flavor profile are my Honey Ginger Sesame Chicken Thighs or my Killer Crack Salmon Muffins.

- 2 tbs ginger paste
- 2 tbs sesame oil, (or olive oil)
- salt and pepper to taste
Sauce:
- 1/4 cup low sodium soy sauce *

- 1 tbs Sriracha sauce
- 1 tbs ginger paste
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbs honey

Hi Colleen, Sounds awesome with the heart of palm noodles! Thanks for the kind feedback!
I made this last night, it was quick and delicious
Hi Dana, that’s awesome! Thank you for trying out the recipe!
I’m a little confused by the directions. I am an experienced cook and baker but I’m confused. Does the oil go in the sauce? The ginger? It looks like it’s part of the sauce ingredients. But the directions indicate it’s not. Help!
THIS WAS amazing!!! I used steak tips definitely will be in my rotation thank you!
This recipe gave me great inspiration , and turned out really good. I made a few changes, though. I velveted the sirloin because sirloin can end up tough. After I did that, I marinated it in the sauce for an hour and then coated it w the flour. I also blanched the broccoli for one minute and roasted the onion separately. Then I cooked the beef and broccoli in the oven separately and then added the onion. The beef was very tender and the vegetables were just perfect and the sauce made it absolutely delicious!
Hello! I love all your feedback! Thank you for coming back here to comment and share with everyone – super helpful!!

Excelente receita. Vou prepará-la com frango. Posso utilizar uma farinha low carb?
Excellent recipe. I’m going to make it with chicken. Can I use low carb flour?
Hi Debora, yes! I’m so glad you liked the recipe! Yes, you can use any flour!
The flavors were good but next time I’ll cook the veggies 5 min before I add the meat… they were too undercooked for me.
What can you do if you don’t have a broiler?
