Flourless Peanut Butter Banana Chocolate Chip Muffins (One Bowl)
My most viral baked recipe with a simple adjustment that absolutely perfects them.
We make these all the time in my house. Obsessed with the peanut butter banana and chocolate combination. This time, I updated the recipe by adding 1/4 cup almond flour to the mix. This recipe, can, at times, be extra gooey. It varies due to the consistency of your bananas and/or your peanut butter.
If you like these, you should definitely try my Flourless Pumpkin Brownie Muffins or my Flourless Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Muffins, 5 Ingredient Banana Bread Muffins or my Flourless Banana Oat Muffins.

delicious, fluffy and easy to prepare!!!
Many times these recipes taste too healthy for my kiddo, but not these. My whole family loves these. I can’t do Almond Flour so I did 2T of coconut flour and 2T of tiger nut flour because I happen to have those on hand. I’m sure GF all-purpose flour would work well too!
HI Catherine, Perfect substitutes for almond flour! I’m glad the family loved them too! Thank you for the rating!
Hello,
Can’t wait to taste these!! In the oven now.
Can anyone a brand of coconut oil spray?
Thanks so much.
Hi Maureen, HOpe you liked the muffins! I use Trader Joe’s coconut oil spray. Or whichver brand is at my Stop n Shop super market.
These are delicious! I love how easy they are to make and how goey they are. Super healthy and super satisfying!! Delicious! Because this is one of my favorite recipes, ever, it made its way to being taped to the inside of my upper kitchen cabinet door where all my favorite recipes are taped! Thank you! 💕
Hi Mary, OHHHH i’m so flattered this made it to your cabinet! And I don’t blame you, this is definitely a keeper!! Thanks for the kind message!
Can they be made with almond butter?
Absolutely!
These are so tasty! Like little banana bread gluten free bites! Super moist, I had to refrigerate to firm them up a bit but lived eating them straight out of the fridge!
These are Delicious!!!!!!!!
Hi Rebecca! I’m glad you enjoyed them! Thank you!!
I made these yesterday and they were delicious! Thank you so much for sharing your wonderful recipes 😋
Hello! I’m so happy these were to your liking! Thank you for the feedback!!
Hi. Can you substitute egg for flax egg? Thks
Hi Emilia, Yes you can sub in a flax egg or 1/4 cup applesauce. Will change the texture of the muffin but definitely works.
These muffins are so good! Made them
Exactly as the recipe and wouldn’t change a thing.
Hi Kimberly! Happy to read the feedback! Thank you for the taking the time to comment!
Great recipe.
Delicious and super easy
Hi Sylvia! I couldn’t agree with you more!Thank you for the comment and rating!
I made these a few days ago. It was easy enough to figure out how much vanilla to use based on some of your other flourless muffins that show up below. These are absolutely delicious. They freeze perfectly and stay super moist. I almost never comment on recipes online but these were just so good, and so easy, that I wanted to let you know I’ve already shared this with so many people (the recipe that is…I’m not sharing the muffins). Looking forward to trying more of your recipes (this was my first!).
Hi Farah! Well that’s a great compliment and thank you for taking the time to comment here! Also, a big thanks for sharing the recipe and site with your friends – that is super appreciated! Hope you enjoy more recipes! Cheers!
How much vanilla?
Hi Alison, 1 tsp vanilla
Hi Stella, Thanks! I just made these and noticed that the video says “vanilla”, but the print version does not list vanilla……so I did not add the vanilla (I always use the printed copy).
So I am wondering how they will come out… should I add vanilla the next time..?
Hi Ros! Sorry about that .. yes add 1 tsp vanilla but they will still be great! I’m going to revise the list right now. Again, I’m very sorry!
Well…… guess what Stella? My family and I LOVED them even without the vanilla. We ate the whole pan in 1 day. I am making another batch tonight and will try it with vanilla. Thanks for the quick response!!! These muffins are soooooo yummy!!! Perfect for Valentine’s or any other day!!
can all purpose flour or oat flour work too?
I made these right AP flour last night and I can vouch they are amazing and delish!
Thanks for the feedback Rosemarie!! Much appreciated!
I had these for the first yesterday. Love loved them. (Actually 2). 😂
Hi Sandy! Glad you liked them! Thank you so much for rating them too!
