Lemon Pepper Chicken Souvlakia (Skewers)
These simple to make chicken skewers are filled with tender meat and tons of flavor.
This is one of my family’s favorite dishes that they ask for me to make constantly. Its super simple to throw together last minute or meal prep overnight to marinate in all those delicious yet simple flavors. The
I would also advise you to make this with my Lazy Tzatziki or traditional Greek Tzatziki for dipping. It really brings this dish together and to the next level. I would also serve this with some warm pita and my Greek Traditional Horiatiki Salata or Maroulosalata.

can I use chicken tenders for this
Yes!
This was soooo good! Had 1.5lbs of chicken. Cut the salt down to about 1/2 tsp and it was plenty. Also grilled the skewers on a Blackstone grill. Made them nicely browned yet still so moist. Big hit!
Hi Kim, sounds amazing on the Blackstone! Thanks so much for the kind review and I’m glad you enjoyed the dish!
Such an amazingly delicious recipe! I was too lazy to skewer my chicken thighs so i just left them whole, marinated them, and brushed the chicken on both sides with the sauce as well as poured it over at the end. Such a bomb recipe!
Hi Leah, PERFECTION! Happy you enjoyed the recipe as you preferred! LOVE IT!

HI Greg, glad you both enjoyed the recipe! Thanks for the rating!
If I did a combo of breast and thigh meat, would the air fryer time be adjusted? Can’t wait to try.
Hi Johnna, Should be the same temperature. Make sure you always check the internal temp of the meat though with a thermometer.
But it should be the same time since regardless of the type of meat, its all being packed together on the stick skewers.
Thank you!!
Delicious! A new week night dinner favorite! So juicy and tender! And that sauce… incredible!
Thanks so much for trying the recipe! Glad it was enjoyed 💙
way too much salt, maybe 1/2 tsp at most. Will definitely try again with way less salt.
I always use the rule of thumb of 1 tsp salt per pound of meat. This was 2 lbs so I used 2 tsp. I’m very sorry you didn’t like it though! And thanks for trying it!
It was the absolute perfect amount of salt for me… these were delicious!!! 🙏🏻♥️😋
