A low calorie, inexpensive and delicious way to serve your cabbage side dish.
This side dish is the ultimate cabbage side because its easy to prep and really delivers on that garlic parmesan flavor. We each had two and had leftovers to warm up for the next day!
The best aspect of the dish it that the cabbage caramelizes in the oven and the result is super yummy vegetables at your table. You can also sub in so many different marinades here like BBQ sauce, Pesto or soy sauce and honey.

5 stars!!!!
I tried it. It was good. I did add a touch more olive oil and baked it for a little longer. I thought it was perfect! Will be making it again.

going to try this with Brussel sprouts. Hoping they will turn out. Just have to keep a close eye on them. Will let you know how they turn out
Amazing I now make this area of the week❤️
I tried these tonight but sadly did not have success . Even after 40 minutes they were not tender but by that time the outer leaves were hard and dried out . I chopped them up and sauted them but still it just wasn’t good ; lots of hard dry bits from the outer leaves and little flavour . My cabbage was quite small so I don’t think it was that . Maybe just a very tough cabbage .
I believe yours were good ; they looked delish in the video !
I love this recipe. The cabbage was not soft nor crisp but flavorful. I am going to try to try a quick steam next time. Thanks for sharing!
Currently making this for a 2nd time in 2 weeks since I came across this recipe. I eat cabbage religiously and needed a a new spark to my cabbage life.
Thanks for the idea!
this was delicious! I did cook mine a little longer after the flip (prob 20 min) to get it nice and browned. Great way to use a head of cabbage and is definitely going in to my recipe rotation
Hi J, I’m so happy you tried them and liked them. And thanks for sharing your feedbsck!
after a full hour, they were still as hard as rocks. why do I do these things to myself? i knew they wouldnt soften. it became cabbage and noodles at 830 at night for my 3 young kids. I’m miserable because of it.
I do love many hungry happens recipes. this is not one of them
Before you write off the recipe I suggest going to Walmart or other Dollar Tree store and pick up an oven thermometer. the kind that hangs off an oven rack/shelf. set you oven for 325, 400, 450, etc. let it preheat well and have the thermometer hanging ideas. check to see if the oven matches the heat setting. your thermostate may be off.
My daughter, in her first apartment, used different colors of nail polish she used to make dots where the oven finally matched the temp dial.
if your oven is digital, you may find that 450F is actually 420 or 425.
this sounds delicious and I thank you for all the recipes cabbage.
Mine all fell apart when I flipped them 😭
maybe you’re a bad flipper. did ja think about that?
what temp?
clearly states 400
what does roasted mean? is putting it on 400 roasted
I will definitely trying this recipe… it’s very healthy. Kudos 🙏🏽
The mistakes that I made the 1st time: I used shredded parm instead of grated parm. It got overcooked and stuck to the parchment. The wedges were too thick. I used chili powder but didn’t use enough. I don’t use the flakes. Not enough oil, onion powder or garlic. WOW! So silly.
Tonight: I’ve cut the other half into thinner wedges. I’m using grated parm & will use the shredded as garnish. using plenty of everything. Also, green onions as garnish. This should be my complete dinner. (Not a vegetarian — just like cabbage).
Cleanup was so much easier that sauteed or stir fried. This is my new go-to cabbage dish.
all the things you mentioned wrong was what I was planning on doing. thanks for the heads up
Delicious! I used 4 cloves of garlic but they were pretty large so next time I may use just 2…
Also is the serving size for 1 of the wedges.. or wondering what is considered the serving size
Thank you for sharing!!
This cabbage looks so very delicious!
I will be roasting some SOON!
